I Big Boy Note...

My baby boy has graduated to Big boy. I am sad and happy at the same time. I decided on Friday that I try him out in a big boy bed. Which is his crib turned into a day bed. It broke my heart to do it, but I thought he was ready for a change and with a baby coming soon I didn't want him to feel that the baby was making all the changes. As I was doing it, he jumped on his bed the whole time and kept climbing in and out. I truely thought i was in for it, but to my surprise at nap time he climbed on in and slept for nearly two hours. Then Friday night he went to bed at 7pm and fell right to sleep, when he woke up in the morning he banged on the door at 7:30am and Brody told him mommy and daddy were still tired so he could watch a movie until we were awake, so Curious George to the rescue we slept at least another 1 1/2. Yeah! He is a big boy for sure!!! And last night was a good night too!!! I will post some pics as soon as I charge my camera!

Oh Amy, that is so exciting and so sad. Why do they have to get big? It is fun to watch them grow and learn, but it is hard to watch them grow out of being babies. I'm glad it has gone smooth for you so far and I'm sure Bingham feels like such a big boy! Call this week if he's feeling better.

Good job, Bingham! That is always a little scary at first, but sounds like he's got the hang of it!

Hey- I don't mean to scare you about two!!! It is awesome! I feel blessed to have two and I am sure you feel the same way. Just get extra sleep now and be prepared for some tantrums from Bingham when the baby comes. Your mom said you will find out this week what your having so let us know!!!

It never gets any easier either. I have been sad with all my kids. We just moved my youngest out of our room :( (to make room for a new little one). Good luck. I hope it all keeps going well.
