We have been mighty busy, here is what we've been up to! Well, of course breast feeding. That is pretty much the majority of what I do. Boen is so big! He is becoming quiet the chub, not to mention he is sooo tall. He is already in 3-6mo clothes. He is too long to fit in anything smaller. His hair is starting to fall out. He has two bald spots on the side where he has rubbed it off and his hair line in front is slowly moving back. But he is still so darling! He rolled over on my bed, although not on purpose, I still need to be careful and watch him closer! He smiles a lot and tries to mimick what I am saying. I here a lot of cooing in the other room as we speak. He is now 6 1/2 wks old. He loves to be on his tummy for a small amount of time. His eye lashes are amazing! Why do boys always get the good lashes? One concern is he does have some kind of rash on his chest and the back of his neck. I asked the dr. and was told to watch it then report back. It is really rough and looks like chicken pox. Hopefully it will go away in the next couple of days. He hasn't had a fever so at least it isn't bothering him too bad. Also, we are blessing him next Sunday the 21st and I am planning for that right now. I am also planning a shower for my cousin Sheena which will be at my house this Saturday. Since I am now post surgery 6wks I am trying to catch up on the cleaning, laundry and cooking! I really feel good it is amazing! I honestly do not hurt at all unless I do too much! After the c/s with Bingham I hurt for a year at least. I couldn't do anything without pain! So, needless to say I am thrilled!!!
Bingham is ajusting very well! He acts up a little when I am breastfeeding, but for the most part he is a joy to be around as always. He is talking like an and it is hilarious. The other morning he asked Brody to go down stairs to get his sippy. Brody told him to do it. He told Brody to do it again so Brody said "You have legs go get it yourself." And Bing's response, "You have legs daddy, you go get it." While pointing at Brody's legs. We were laughing pretty hard. He always says, "What Ever daddy." just like that puts whatever into two separate words. one more Bingham story... He came up in the middle of the night last night saying, "Daddy monkey, Daddy monkey." Brody asked him what he was talking about and took him back to bed. Brody then came back to bed and said that Bingham got to his room and proceeded to look under his bed in his closet, armoire and dresser. Brody was laughing so hard, He didn't seem scared just curious where the monkey had gone. Maybe he was dreaming, or maybe it only comes out when we aren't around like that cartoon with the frog that sings "Hello my baby Hello my honey....." Also, he looked at his shadow then Brody told him that was his shadow not the monkey... What do you think?
Here are some pics of Boen at 6wks old!
