Nursery planning notes...

I am using the same crib and the some pieces of Bing's bedding. I am painting the walls a green color called Fennel, and I am painting a hand-me-down dresser which will also double as a changing table a darker green color from the same swatch Appalachian Trial then antiquing it. I also bought new handles for the dresser. I will be using sailboats instead of airplanes. So, as you can tell the main color will be green this time with accents of brown and blue.

As for Bingham's BIG BOY room I am taking a new approach. You know the old fashion baseball rooms that are so cute? Well I am making him an old fashion airplane room. I will be painting the walls a gray color. He will have a bunkbed that Grandpa Call built. It is log and so beautiful! Bingham will keep his armoire and nightstand, (also built by Grandpa Call for Brody when he was young.) The bedding for the beds are tan duvet covers that will go over down comforters. I found blue sheets at target for $10 each. I thought they would be perfect for my Bingham. I found small matching blue throw pillows that I am putting antique airplanes on. (April and my mom are helping me.) I will also be using all of his antique planes, as well as the propeller Brody made! I can't wait to start. We will probably start in May or June, That way Brody will be graduated and finished with the bathroom. I added a slideshow of some of the things I have so far!

You are so crafty! I'm glad you're feeling better. How's Brody doing? I know we keep saying this, but we REALLY do need to get together!
