A Child's Prayer
Two nights ago as I tucked Bingham into his bed he asked what his day was going to be like tomorrow. I told him it was Groundhogs day and he had preschool and he was the leader, which means he gets to sit in a special chair at school and be the special helper. He also got to bring the treats! Oh the joy that came over his face at that very minute! Then I told him a quick story. I always help him with his night prayers where we bless our family and friends and humbly ask for things that we need which he did by himself. I said bless we can be healthy and he added..."and that Bingham can be the BEST leader Ms. Jill ever had. And Bingham can sit in the green chair and bring good treats. And Bingham is the BEST leader in the world!" I helped him finish and told him what a wonderful job he did. Isn't it cute what matters to them in their little heads. Oh I wish that was all I needed to ask Heavenly Father for!
